About Angela

Angela grew up within the island culture of Cyprus. She was raised in an artistic family where her creativity was supported and nurtured. Since the age of three, she has taken full advantage of her artistic freedom, embracing every opportunity that has come her way, from dancing in carnival parades and creating party skits to writing and performing music. She has immersed herself fully in the world of performance art throughout her life, though filmmaking has always been her primary passion.

Her craving for performance art eventually lead her to Los Angeles where she completed training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She has since landed leading roles and voiceover work in film, television, commercials, theatre and music videos, both in the United States and back in her native home of Cyprus.

Within the United States, Angela has performed in several professional theatre productions including a supporting role (Kate) in Neil Simon's Brighton Beach Memoirs and a leading role (Diana) in Simon’s California Suite. She was also featured in the Demi Lovato music video for Tell Me You Love Me, directed by Mark Pellington (known for Jerry McGuire and Almost Famous).

Her Cyprus credits include national television series such as Karma and Lounapark, national commercials for Wolt Enterprises and music videos for St. Mary, Marina Solonos and Planes.

Angela has been recognized for her work in visual storytelling. She received an LA Shorts nomination for producing the short film Shout and has won two Europe Music Video Awards for Best Actress and Best Female Vocalist.

Most recently, Angela’s company Thicc Boy Productions released Shout & Love & Quarantine, a project for which she directed, produced and acted.
